The mission of Autonomy Iowa City is to provide support to people seeking abortions or experiencing miscarriages, in or outside of Iowa.
We assist people getting abortion pills for a self-managed abortion or miscarriage, and assist with out of state travel for abortion related medical care. We also provide support and education to people choosing self-managed abortion.
Self-managed abortion is safe.
Multiple scientific studies show that with accurate medical information and instructions, self-managing an abortion with pills is safe. This isn’t the “back-alley” anymore.
